    The Sack Tip module provides a simple, contained method of formulating powders from sacks into Matcon IBCs, with minimal dust exposure before adding the IBC into your batch processing flow. It has a hygienic and easy-to-clean design for fast, efficient product changeovers. A flatbed vibratory sieve and magnetic grate capture any 'tramp' material. Optional weigh platforms are available to provide check weighing capability.

    Mixing & Blending

    With a Matcon IBC Blender, 360° tumble-blending takes place within the IBC itself. Recipe changeovers are virtually instantaneous as the blender has no product contact parts to clean. A high shear intensifier extends the range of blending capabilities, providing efficient mixing of cohesive powders and features the ability to directly add and disperse liquid content between the range of 5-150 litres in to a recipe batch. Real-time analysis of mix homogeneity is provided using Near-Infrared (NIR) spectroscopy.

    The 'Flexi-Batch' IBC Formulation System provides automatic batching of recipe ingredients from 10-1000kg with high degrees of accuracy when dealing with larger throughputs. The contained design means multiple recipes can be handled simultaneously with full batch traceability and security. ‘Ingredient’ containers are located on a framework, with ‘batch’ containers travelling below collecting the ingredients according to programmed batch recipes. System configurations are dependent on throughput rates, quantity of raw ingredients & accuracy levels required.

    IBC Washing Systems

    A full range of IBC Washing equipment is available from simple manual Wash Lances through to fully validated, recipe-driven Wash Booths. The wet wash and high-pressure air washing options ensure the inside of the IBC is fully washed and dried, eliminating any risk of contamination. Safe, repeatable washing can be fully automated and performed 'offline', removing process bottlenecks and factory downtime. The Air Washing systems are ideal for applications posing a waterborne bacteriological risk such as milk powder production.
