  Single screw feeders

  Coperion K-Tron single screw feeders are ideal for feeding free flowing bulk materials such as pellets and powders. Single screw feeders are available in both volumetric and gravimetric configurations, in four sizes to meet your feed rate requirements and solve your material handling problems. Some are optimized for quick material changes and can even be configured for differing material properties. Others feature easy cleanability and meet food and pharmaceutical sanitary requirements. Screw feeders are the most common and economical volumetric feeders you can buy.

  Twin screw feeders

  Coperion K-Tron twin screw feeders can be used for free flowing powders and fine granulates but they are ideal for feeding difficult materials such as pigments, sticky, bridging or flooding powders, fiber and fiberglass. Both volumetric and gravimetric twin screw feeders are available in a wide range of sizes to offer an optimal solution for your application. Some are optimized for quick material changes and can even be configured for differing material properties. Others feature easy cleanability and meet food and pharmaceutical sanitary requirements. Gravimetric versions use Coperion K-Tron’s patented and highly accurate Smart Force Transducer (SFT) weighing technology to achieve high accuracy.

  Weigh belt feeders

  Coperion K-Tron Smart Weigh Belt feeders are relatively simple, extremely reliable gravimetric feeders providing high feeding precision and efficient process monitoring. The SWB is the perfect solution for wild flow metering, where headroom is limited, or when feeding friable material that may be damaged by other feeding methods. This compact gravimetric feeder can handle large volumes of bulk material with varying flow characteristics. The SWB is available with a continuous online taring option, which features two weigh modules. This reduces costly maintenance, line shutdowns and laborious manual calibration while at the same time substantially improving long term accuracy and stability.

  Pharmaceutical design feeders

  The new Coperion K-Tron K3 line of pharmaceutical feeders has been specifically designed to meet the growing demands of continuous processing in the pharmaceutical industry. K3-PH feeders feature a reduced overall footprint thanks to a new, smaller D4 platform scale. The modular, quick change design allows the easy exchange of feeder types and sizes as well as hoppers or agitators using the same scale & drive for fast adaptation to new processes and formulations while also ensuring easy cleaning and maintenance. All units are specifically designed to meet the cleaning requirements of the end user, including options on complete wash-in-place and rinse-in-place cleaning.

  Micro screw feeders

  Coperion K-Tron’s family of twin screw microfeeders has been specially designed to provide maximum accuracy at minimal feed rates, which makes these feeders ideal for use in the chemical and pharmaceutical processing industries. Unique design features ensure that high value ingredients are fed accurately at rates as low as 32 g/h with minimal residual material left in the feeder. The modular design means more flexibility for the process and easy access to all parts for cleaning and maintenance. The 12 mm and 16 mm twin screw feeding modules are completely interchangeable and can feed a wide range of free-flowing to difficult powders.
