Industrial mixers

Different products and different industries require different mixing techniques and different mixers. Depending on the bulk materials to be combined, industrial mixing can be performed with a wide range of specific manufacturing temperatures and operational pressures.

Blending dry powders, blending high-viscosity pastes, homogenizing, emulsifying, agglomerating or reducing particle size are typical examples of the various processing methods. Through years of experience, Tekemas has, along with our world-class European Mixing partners, a wealth of mixing know-how about the various processes. This knowledge, and the possibility of testing your powder in our partner’s test centers, ensures the right solution for your product and that you are making the right investment. Let us help you find the right solution.

    KS KoneSlid mixer

The amixon® KS precision mixer is a single shaft powder mixing system with relatively small dimensions and a unconventional mixing chamber. The KS mixer is identified by particularly short mixing and discharging times. It is capable of processing large quantities in a short cycle time. Ideal mixing qualities and excellent particle protection are achieved in a new way. The KS has a smooth, streamlined design and supports the flow process of the mixtures. Available in sizes 500-3000 l.

VMT Vacuum Dryer & mixing Reactor

The amixon® VMT mixer dryer and vacuum dryer provides a very gentle vacuum drying at fast reaction rate for dry, moist and viscous materials at variable filling levels. The VMT mixer dryer is vacuum and pressure tight and heated by steam, thermal oil or water. The VMT mixer dryer can be designed to conform with FDA-standards to be used as a sterile mixer and reactor which also meets EHEDG requirements and the 3-A Sanitary Standards. The VMT is available in sizes for 100 – 40000 liters.

  • Image of IBC Tumble Blender mixer

    IBC Tumble Blender mixer

With a Matcon IBC Blender, 360° tumble-blending takes place within the IBC itself. Recipe changeovers are virtually instantaneous as the blender has no product contact parts to clean. A high shear intensifier extends the range of blending capabilities, providing efficient mixing of cohesive powders and features the ability to directly add and disperse liquid content between the range of 5-150 litres in to a recipe batch. Real-time analysis of mix homogeneity is provided using Near-Infrared (NIR) spectroscopy.
